Anyway, I had, up until now, been planning on working the summer way, earning my way to University. Well, sort of. Hadn't really gotten around to actually applying anywhere. So yea, the main point: I'm seriously looking at C.I.T.-ing, and (yes I know I'm really late in applying) I'd like to know what, if any of you have done it, it is like. It sounds cool and all, but I just don't know, you know? I'm sure you do.

Hey Benny!
Did your momma tell you that we had a quick little chat in the ferry terminal this weekend? She seems like such a sweet momma (you certainly know how to pick em - nicely done!) so I figure you're a pretty lucky guy.
Anyway, I'm posting because I figured that I could offer you a few details about CIT-ing and camp in general. The CIT program is a four week program - two weeks of learning, one week of counseling, and one week of volunteering around camp. When I say learning I mean bible study/teaching, counseling info, activity training (learning how to teach activities to the kiddies) and so on. In the counseling week you are placed in a cabin with 8-10 kids, and you are their jr. counselor for the week (there is a sr.counselor in the cabin who is responsible for mentoring you and helping with the counseling). It's a tough week, but so incredibly rewarding at the same time!
I realize that I could write on and on and on about CIT, so I will stop now, but if you have any questions, feel free to email, phone or chat with me (seeing as i'm one of the CIT counselors this summer, i can probably help ya out)

Hey BEN!
Wow, I too am so excited about your "consideration" of CIT-ing. From previous experience (I did CIT #2 last summer), CIT was one of THE MOST amazing experiences of my life! Not everyone's camp time is the same, but mine was literally life-changing. Though it was sometimes very hard and straining, God showed Himself to me in indescribable ways. I remember specifically during my counseling week that I was worried I wouldn't have enough energy or love for my campers--it was going to be a very long week. BUT, God completely held through for me and answered all my pleas for overflowing love and enthousiasm! I had the best week I could've asked for. Aside from that, he tought me profound things about praying boldly, seeing others through the compassionate eyes of Jesus, how the Bible is an A+ amazing book of wisdom and passion, building my life upon the strong foundation of Jesus... so so many more things. I am a changed person today because of the work God did in me during my summer at Qwanoes.
There are many more stories I could tell, but I don't know how much more you want to know! Mainly, God used my experience in a phenomenal way to reveal things about His character, His plan for me, and about HOPE. Hope was a pretty big one as well; hope when things are looking a little plain in life, hope when the tough times roll around, hope when you really have nothing else left. Even NOW I look back on those lessons and remember to hope. I have been having a rough time with some differnt things lately, but God just keeps reminding me to stay in the game because He ain't quite finished with me yet!

Okay, well then. I shall definitely apply. Now, I would like to know when everyone is signed up to go, so that way i can avoid you all. I mean, get in the same one as everybody so we can have a jolly good time filled with laughter, cheer, and bunny rabbits.
In all honesty, I would like when people are going.
Of course, now that I actually decided to take the time to read Janine's comment, I now know that everybody is going in July. Well then. That settles it. I'm going in AugustImeanJuly.

OKAY! I have held off for TOO LONG! Clearly I agree with Janine 100% on all grammatical criticisms, and completely support her decision to stab at you for the improper usage. HOWEVER, yes, we are all human. AND, guess what, Cam? God still loves you even though you make grammatical mistakes. In fact, our weaknesses are what makes us who we are. We cherish you, Cameron--usage errors and all! I just wanted you to understand that heart-felt love.
Janine, I'm glad I make your heart beat. I'm trilled that I can be of assistance to your circulatory system. It's always a pleasure. And you ARE always super hyper on this blog! Maybe YOU are the one sniffing glue! Lisa is now declared innocent of all sniffing-- Janine is our real culprit.

33!!!!!! I'm excited now! Okay, Ben, you are clearly the strangest person I know as of NOW. Well, Finch is clearly the strangest, but he doesn't really count. In fact, I've come to another wonderful conclusion, and have discovered YOUR soul-mate as well! I think you and LISA should get married! Think about it... you're strange and say the word "flock"... Lisa's strange and says the word "flock". You both just wish so desperately that you were more popular than your amazing posts (or pointless ones in some cases). (Ha! Zing!) Kidding... well, I still think you're the perfect match. Plus you both love screens (Ben: video games, Lisa: TV), though this may present a few problems in your marriage. No one likes to have TV time slots. But think about it... you could watch American Idol together, play this "E3" business, talk about fun and exciting things... oh your life would be dandy. Then you could have 2.5 children, live in a little country house with a white picket fence, and own a dog named Electro (or something cool like that... because Electro is clearly a cool name for any dog-- at least better than OLA!! Oh! DOUBLE-ZING!). Okay, this ain't going no where so I'll stop.

Okay, now I HAVE to do comment 36... Janine, you know I love your dog. There is no question about this. Your dog is the most amazing dog-under-1-foot-tall-named-Ola that I have ever known! But seriously, she makes my heart.... uh, bark! *heart barking* :) As for LISA... you have so said the word flock, as I told you on the telephone yesterday. Also, as for the "I'm way more popular than my posts"... if this is true, why did you invite yourself over to MY house yesterday, huh? HUH?? That's right! YOU are the one a-knocking at doors! AND... should I even get started on your dog? You know, Janine provided a very convincing argument as to why Ola beats your dog. She gave many characteristics that back this up (quadlingual, plays with food, hot tush, overall coolness). Ola has clearly won in my eyes. If you're going to claim your dog is better, you must back it up! Mind you, you won't have to worry about little Snortney, I mean SYDNEY, once the Assassination Team gets her. She can run & chew off people's appendages, but she can't HIDE!

And then there's TARA's stance, which Janine disagrees with. You see, I think everyone is WEIRD in their own way, and NO ONE is normal. We all have our own quirks and talents, which make us different and sometimes "strange" to everybody else. Therefore, we are ALL strange in comparison to each other. If someone calls you weird, you can just say "so are you!" But anyways, that's just what I think. And Cam CAN'T be the exception to weirdness because then he'd be the "normal" one-- which is impossible!

I am now. HAHAHA!! Love this so much. And it's true Tara, I'm a big fan of the screens: computer, TV (vi'eo games), and we can't forget the iPod screen! R0xr0z to teh N4n0.
Ok, Well, let's get caught up now. I'm very (really) honoured to be thought of as the weirdest person by Tara. It's a title I hold with extreme pride and (maybe) dignity. I also happen to be the smartest, as I can count from 1 to 31 on only ONE hand! And not like "I'M GOING TO COUNT ALL THE CREVICES IN MY HAND, 1...2....3". No, I mean in a LOGICAL fashion. And I can count to 1023 using both hands. And 1,048,575 if I use my toes as well. Except that it would take toooooo long. So let's stick to 1023. OH, and I can solve the Tower of Hanoi with extreme cunning skills. Good times. ...yes I have friends.
So enough about my < geek > BEN < /geek > tendencies. Let's discuss this dog business. Clearly, my dog, Lucy, is the loudest. So that's all that matters. She may not necessarily rip your face off, but she'll make you think that she will. Always need to be on your toes with Lucy.
I also feel extremely honoured to be so popular that the number of comments has surpassed the greatest number of all time: 42. I shall finish this, the 45th comment with even more honour.
In closing, I had a grilled cheese sandwich today and it was good.

Yea, but there's also more exciting things. At least in my opinion. I admit that adding Snake is a great move, but I definitely can't wait for Super Mario Galaxy or Zelda: Twilight Princess. Both games look amazing. And, of course, being a fan of Rayman, I can't wait for that game either. Come to think of it, I just can't wait for the Wii in general.

Hey, wasn't me who started it. Clearly it was Jon. And besides, any time I'm involved in a conversation, there's a huge threat of video gaming being involved. So, either start playin' or stop complainin'!!
Anyway, thought it'd be nice to know what kinds of bands people are into nowadays. Me, J'aime le Pink Floyd. And gotta love some of that epic metal, specifically Blind Guardian. In terms of Christian bands....none at the moment; unless someone wants to point me in the direction of some good Christian rock and/or metal. Oh, and I also love Linkin Park. Been a fan for a number of years, new CD comes out this year, hopefully. And....I shall always be a fan of video game music. (Sorry, Lisa for bringing video games into it, but I warned you) I went to see Video Games Live last year, and it was incredible.
So yea, that's who I like at the moment, but I also listen to other music as well, like some occasional Beatles, or Bob Dylan, and some Phantom of the Opera music. Ugh, great music that PotO. Oh yes, and I also like Blindside (which is Christian) and Pearl Jam. There you go. Some good music. Now what about ya'll?

Tara, if we just try to reach a lot of comments by making useless ones, then we haven't accomplished anything! Let's just continue our conversation and see where it lead us.
First off, I would like to know why video games are so horrible in the eyes of you two ladies. Tell me, what makes watching American Idol better than video games? Well, nothing! With Americal Idol, all you do is sit in front of the tv and drool. With video games, you can really stimulate your mind. So, what's better, sitting around and watching tv like a braindead zombie, or using your brain to have fun? I think the answer is quite obvious. Perhaps a quick comparison of my brain capacity to that of those who watch American Idol (say, for example, Lisa and Tara) will serve as proof?
I hope each of you comes to the light and, if you choose not to play video games, learn to understand how beneficial they can be.

Well, first off, considering my original post was about CIT-ing, it's probably a good time to mention that I was ACCEPTED to CIT #2 this summer. So, Lisa, sorry to get on your bad side, but I'm going to camp!
Next, I must conclude this argument on video games and such. You brought up the point about watching, on American Idol, people's hopes and dreams being shattered. I agree that it can be quite entertaining, so you have a point. Unfortunately, I don't agree about enjoying seeing people grow in singing quality...or whatever. Of course, that's just me, so I can understand how some people would enjoy it, so it's a valid argument once again. Your argumentative errors arise, however, in saying that video games "promote violence and ag[g]ression in adoles[c]ents". (I added those two letter because you didn't :P ) There is no proof that video games have been a cause of teenage violence, except in the instances of those who are already susceptable to suggestion, such as those in tough family situations or younger children. If you want a full counter argument, read this website: http://www.gamerevolution.com/oldsite/articles/violence/violence.htm It has a number of great points AND numerical data that supports the arguments.
Really, your argument about violence and video games is just the same one that, for whatever reason, people have been using to justify the aggression of teens. In fact, there will always be anomolies who will react negatively to video games, or music, or movies, or anything they could potentially encounter, but the fact is that we are not mindless peole who do what tv or computer screens tell us to do. I, myself, am not an aggressive person, and I have played video games for more than 10 years of my life!
I do not play games with excessive amounts of violence, however, so I cannot just use myself as proof. I can, though, say that if games with gratuitous amounts of violence do cause aggression, then that is only one section of the gaming industry. There are plenty of non-violent, or low-violence games that are entertaining.
I believe that concludes my argument. So, next time when you want to argue, you some real arguments, ok? Hahaha. Perhaps it would help if you started playing some games, hmmm? I am definitely in support of that. In terms of American Idol, however, I don't have any real reason to watch it, but, maybe if persuaded, I may watch it once or twice. We shall see.
In any case, it is time for me to continue working on my English project and studying for my Chem exam this week. And wait for my program to solve my problem. That's right, I got my program to work (see most recent blog entry on my blog), and it is running right now.

Well, Lisa, I only skipped church cos I was supposed to have a baseball practice. It ended up getting cancelled and I didn't wake up til 10:22 (yes, 22). Not that it would really matter. I mean, you tell me that I didn't come and that you're very disappointed in me, but would you even have spoken to me if I were there? Hmmm, possibly not! Unless you mentioned this line of 74 comments, and that would be our only conversation.
I'll be at Qwanoes (probably) next saturday, but I'll be back for the party on Sunday in which there will bemuch swimming and eating of the food. Perhaps you will actually choose to speak with about something other than this blog? Perhaps. Hahaha, just giving you a hard time.
Anyway, I really actually have to go back to studying Chemistry. Got exam Monday and Wednesday. Then, I work on English, and I'm done! Yay!

Jon, I will agree with you in some areas. First, yes, it is good that I am in going to CIT #2 (are you?? Also, do I know you?). Also, yes, it is even better that Lisa lost the arguments. And yes, boo to Tara and her terrible breakage of the unwritten commenting laws. Unfortunately, you've lost me with the PS3 > Wii statement. Sure, it's 1000000x more powerful, and looks much prettier (not the actual machine, cos Wii takes the beauty there), but...well, 2 things. First, it's too early to say that one is better than the other, especially since there is still not enough known about both, except that maybe the PS3 is way to expensive, even if you get what you pay for and that the Wii is a gamble in regards to the new style of play. The second thing is that many many people have said how much they enjoyed playing with the Wii (no double entendre intended.....), and did you hear about the length of the lines to play the Wii at E3? It was upwards of, by some estimates, 4 hours, and possibly 5 and 6 at some points. That's a long line. And considering that you only get 10 minutes of play, I'd say that clearly the Wii was the crowd favourite. And if the insiders like it, then so will the consumers. Sure, I thought it looked a bit gimmicky at first, and was kinda worried for Nintendo, but clearly they've got something going here, so you have nothing to say against the Wii!

Honestly...I have no idea where that came from. I almost want to pretend that it didn't happen. Almost. Cos if it didn't happen, then I wouldn't be Ben, I'd be Much Less Interesting.
Anyway, touche on the "it takes two for us to not talk". Very true, and you are totally correct. Perhaps I shall be so kind as to allow you to involve yourself in a conversation avec moi. I know how much it means to everybody to speak to such a great person. Haha, yeah......no.
Well, thank you very much for the well-wishing in regards to camp, and I can assure you that I rarely involve myself in "drama" as I am totally uninterested in what's called the "gossip" or the "being stupid".
Bummer for having so much homework. I, too, must attempt to chip away at the giant block that is my homework. I have finished studying for my Chemistry exam, but I also must finish my English project, which is due on Wednesday. That said, I can't do any of it on Tuesday cos I am going to an INXS concert (as well as Scott Stap from Creed), so I must work hard today and tomorrow to finish it. C'est la vie. Now, je dois retourner to my cover letter for a tutoring position. And yes, every so often I do enjoy adding in some french. Je ne sais pas la raison, mais...est-il important? No, it isn't.

Hey, Much here. Snuck onto Ben's account. Today, I did some really fun stuff. Like I was watching some paint dry, and let me tell you, it was saaaweeeeeeeeeet! Lemme tell ya, for the first 3 hours, it was so cool cos you could see all the little wet spots *slowly* go away. There was one which stayed there for 8 hours! I don't know if I mixed the paint wrong or what, but it was so amazing. It almost beat the world record which is like 8 hours, 35 minutes, 28.34 seconds. Yea, I'm a big fan of these competitions. Oh, and then after that I watched grass grow. Of course, to make it more fun and last longer, I used SloGro grass. It's super slow, like, an inch a month! Though, I think I saw it grow a bit today.
Well, I have to go now, but I'll try to come back soon, after another great day like this one!

You admit that the PS3 has an extremely high price, but will you shell out the cash to get one? See, personally, I'm going for the Wii. It looks nice, it places nice (so I've heard, despite it sometimes looking somewhat gimicky) and it's cheap! Plus it'll have all my favourite games. i.e. Zelda, Metroid, (Paper) Mario, SSB, and others like Animal Crossing and such. I just can't give up Nintendo.
Now, Lisa, for your enjoyment, I'll stop talking about vi'eo games. Instead, I will talk about how MY INTERNET IS REALLY SLOW RIGHT NOW AND IT MAKES ME ANGRY.......and I also need to be studying for Math cos I'm gone all weekend at camp. Actually, my internet is so slow right now, it can't even do one of those internet speed tests! Ha! Grrrrrrr, je le deteste. Si je pouvais, j'attaquerais l'internet. Mais puis-je l'attaquer? Non!
Oh, and, even more interesting, this week in Physics (now that exam's done), we've been learning about Eintein's Special Relativity. For example, did you know that light travels at the speed of light NO MATTER WHAT?!?!?! Like, you could be travelling forward at 1c (one times the speed of light), and light would still pass you going 1c??? C'est impossible! And (this is so cool), the faster you travel....the slower time becomes and you gain more mass!!!! Now that is amazing. There's more...but it's so much better explaining in person. Yea. So cool, I know. *nerd'd!*

So anyway, I'm getting ready to eat some burgers for dinner tonight. And I'm kinda tired. I'm supposed to have a baseball game tomorrow in Cloverdale. I don't really want to go...but I must cos otherwise I've missed 4 games in a row (thus, right now, I've missed 3 in a row). My math exam is tuesday, then English on wednesday, and French on Thursday. I'm quite confident in all of them. Then, Civics a week later, which I also feel pretty good about.

Oh, no bible study? Darn, that means I'm doing nothing tonight again. And here, I'd like to know: why is it that I've suddenly gotten a reputation for not showing up for things (at least for you)? I only didn't come because I was at camp. It's not like I skipped out to hang with my other friends (i.e. my computer, Gamecube, and some real people too). So come on! heh.

Hahaha, Cam, we care. For whatever reason, it's just become fun to post comments on this thing with conversations that could easily be carried out on MSN (except that they wouldn't last as long and it would be all at one time). I check back on this numerous times every day.
Without further ado, I must continue what Jon and I have done for a while, and that is to discuss video games. Today I bought Half-Life 2, but I haven't been able to play it cos it's still downloading. I bought it from the company who makes it, Valve, and they sell it online so you can download it and it's cheaper than buying it in stores. So, I'm still waiting. Won't be able to play it until tomorrow, but I've played the demo and it's really fun.
Also, I've been playing Myst: Uru a lot today. If you don't know of Myst, it is the pioneer of the adventure game genre, and it's the best game ever. Uru's just one of the games in the now-finished series. And it's really hard/amazing.
Anyway, I'll stop there because I suddenly realized that all of that went right over each of your (omitting Jon, of course) respective heads. Nothing else to say then...so good luck, Lisa, with your last 3 exams, and same to Cam with his last x exam(s). Me, I gots 1 left, my Civics provincial at 9 AM on Thursday. Yay!

Well, Lisa, I think that it's obvious that men wouldn't get together to BBQ and eat sundaes and be amazed at being able to use the BBQ. Instead, we'd probably do something like get together, BBQ big fat juicy steaks and shoot each other with either a) paintballs, or b) in video games. And probably gorf down an unhealthy amount of pop and snack food. I've done that once, that is, without the BBQ part. We had a guy's night "out" and we stayed at this one guys house all night and played video games and ate food. And then we had Pogos and pancakes for breakfast!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I has this really long post with all this cool information and stuff, and I accidentally closed the window! Arg! Now to start over....cutting stuff out of course...
Okay, so yes, Pogo's are as you describe them, but I actually kinda like them. That said, I don't eat them often anyway. And I think his mom just served it cos...well, I don't know why, but it's not like she was odd or anything...so I don't know. But it was tasty.
So today I had Starbuck's. And yesterday as well. It was all good because it was a Mocha Frappe. And Mocha is good because it is chocolate + coffee. Which, naturally, is a good combination.

I watched a movie called Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which all of you must watch because it is quite excellent and not your typcial sort of movie. And I am reading a book called E=mc^2, which basically goes over what the equation is all about, how it was developed by Einstein, and all sorts of things. It's very good, espcially if you have no idea what E=mc^2 actually is or does or yes.

Mmmmm....steak. Had some tonight. MMMMMMmmMMmMmm. Steak.
I'm about halfway through HL2, and it's very good. Lots of fun. Except for the headcrabs. And the headcrab zombies. Me no like. In regards to multiplayer games...well, I'm not really a fan. Though, that's not true. I do like them, but they don't interest me nearly as much as single player games. I would much rather play a Halo by myself than with friends (mostly because I suck at MP). Likewise, I would much rather play an adventure game (like Zelda, or Myst) than a shooter. What can I say? Well, I can say that the Wii should be coming out before PS3. And what else needs to be said?
Now, in consideration of Lisa, let us move on to a more non-vg topic. Such as...er...the weather? No. How about...yea, I got nothing. Sorry Lisa.

So this morning I woke up at 7....at first. The rest of my family was all busy getting ready for work and all, while I was planning to sleep in til 10 then do some studying for Civics. It all worked out, but first I woke up at 7 and couldn't get back to sleep. Why not? Because I kept wondering to myself, Is my exam really on Thursday...and even if it is....is today Wednesday or Thursday? It took me two trips to my exam schedule and a few heartly laughs from my family to finally convince myself that it is indeed Wednesday today, and Thursday is my exam.
Anyway, the whole point of my telling this story was to find out if either of you 2 do the same thing, or is it just crazy-old-me? Pretty much every day I leave for school I leave trying to ignore thoughts that the stove's on or something. Well, that's exaggerating a bit, but it's not too far off. Maybe it's an OCD thing. Who knows?
Well, just wanted to know if I was special or not. Hahahahahaha. Ha.

Hahahaha, that's funny. Good to know that other people do the same thing. Ah, life is fun. It's funny though that we did it on the same day! Actually, every time I had an exam I checked the schedule just to make sure that I hadn't misread it or anything. Oh well, just gotta live with it, I guess.
Well, I suppose that I should get back to studying...but I don't really want to. Maybe I'll study for another half hour then call it quits til tonight when I'll go over some more things and be done forever. My last exam of Grade 11 is tomorrow! YAY! I'M GONNA PASS GRADE 11! What a surprise...
Hmmm...I wonder what I got on my math exam. Guess I'll find out tomorrow, but I had a dream last night that I got 100%. So perhaps dreams come true. I would like that. Know what would be funny? If exams were 1 question. That's it. But it was like hard, not simple. So you either get 100 or 0. But it was still worth 20% of your final grade. School would be more interesting...and I wonder if kids would care more about school if it were like that? I got the idea from my Physics teacher because he said that once in University, his Physics exam was one question, but just a big one. It was worth more than 1 mark, but it was still only 1 question. I'm pretty sure I would actually worry about exams if school was like that...

Yes, Cam is right. Sundaes by men are just so much better. Because we don't worry about our weight. Instead, we try to double it using chocolate sauce, ice cream, and anything else imaginable that you could put on a sundaes (i.e. not steak). But we don't need to take pictures of them to make us feel special.
Lisa, I have never once talked about video games since I promised not to. Cam has made it really hard by no knowing what a "Wii" is...but I will fight the urge to explain. Instead, I notice that Cam has added me on MSN and so he can consult me using it instead.
Anyway, I just finished watching Mission: Impossible (the first one) and it was good. I think it was my 3rd time seeing it. Aaaaand I don't know why I mentioned that.

Yay, pass! I think I passed all my courses too. Hahaha, yea, I already have my report card, so it clearly shows, that I only failed 0 courses. Yay!
And John, no, I didn't do it myself, I used the magic if the Internets to do it for me. Like I said yesterday, I have a function on my browser to automatically type in binary, morse code, backwards, hex, ROT13 (I don't know what it is, but I know what it does), leet, URL encoding (ex, space is "%20" like it is in a URL), and I think a couple more. It can also encrypt and decrypt using 8-byte encryption. so I guess 64-bit then. Pretty cool, huh? Yea, I think so. Oh, and it can convert any text on a webpage to and from any of the above writing styles.

You learn 1337 from experience. Though, I'm sure that you could learn it from the internets. Just look up "how to speak leet" on Google or something. Maybe Wikipedia would work too. Hex and binary are different. They are number systems, like out decimal (base 10) system. Ourse is DECImal, base 10, think: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 -- 10 numbers, and we increase in the number of digits every power of 10 (10^1 is 10, 10^2 is 100). I don't know if that made sense.
Anyway, BInary is base 2 (therefore, uses 0 and 1) and HEXADECImal is base 16 (therefore, uses 0-9, then A B C D E F). Binary is used to represent electrical signals in a computer, where 0 means no electrical pulse, and 1 is an electrical pulse. Anything on a computer can be simplified like that. So, you can "type" in binary, because every single key on the keyboard has a number assigned to it, an "ASCII" code. (ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange) The letter A is 65 (though I'm not sure if it's the uppercase or lowercase one), so an "a" or ("A" if it's uppercase, as i said I can't remember) is 01000001. I could explain why and stuff, but look it up online, it's easier for you and me.
I know that's a lot to take in, but maybe eventually you'll become as 31337 as Jon or I!

Lisa, the reason why your mouth hurts is because you're obviously not taking enough pain drugs. :P Yeah, I need to look into getting mine out. Cos otherwise it'll hurt more when they come out, and also mess up my teeth.
So yeah, just a little camp update. It's been great being myself while I'm here. It's a great environment. I loves it. I counsel next week and I can't wait.
OH, and I saw little Lisa today and earlier on this week. That's right, Abby is here. It was totally a random encounter of the nth kind. And, for some reason, she knew my name. Um...like, the only time we've ever met was at my house when the Dobsons came over for a Christmas dinner. Good times. I still remember that amazing dessert, which I could barely fit into my stomach. Barely. So yeah, she said 'hi' when I was working at Club Coco today (which is pretty much the most amazing hang out spot ever).

I like how you single me out Lisa. "i'm talking to YOU ben" Speaking of single, you're right, I didn't come home from camp with a girlfriend. And I'm quite upset about that. Nobody loves Ben. Woe is I.
I probably wouldn't go out with any of the girls from camp anyway. They seem too much like my sisters now...but not really, I lie. I just like it the way it is I guess. Otherwise, all o' them would be all over me. Yes, I know, I'm resistable. I mean irresistable.... >_> Once I pull out that ol' TI-84 Plus....there's no way out. ...I'm hopeless...I know. BUT...I'll have you know that I have had a girlfriend before. For like 2 years. So there. That's probably about my limit for forever. Rats.
My day has been good, just been to church mostly. I've eaten a bowl of Crispix and like 5 or 6 pieces of banana bread. And a lifesaver. Pretty soon, I'm going to be eating leftover pizza for lunch. I don't know about dinner. On TV, I enjoy Justice, 24, Prison Break, House, and some CSI and Criminal Minds and whatnot. I also enjoy watching X-Play and other such programmes on G4.

Yay for a never-ending comment list. Wow...it's late right now. I should probably go to bed. But first a post.
I'm not gonna say anything about your choice of TV (and music), Lisa, except for this sentence.
So, this one time, I dressed up as myself in a more concentrated form. It's kind of like I'm a diluted Ben (perhaps, a 0.7 Molar solution), where the concentrated form is a Dungeons & Dragons/Everquest/World of Warcraft-playing computer geek who spends all day on the computer, programming. In his spare time, he does math for fun. Boy, sounds like fun, I should do a little evaporating. [note: I realize that in saying all these things, I've become a 0.71 Molar Ben] But back to the whole point of this paragraph, I just wanted to clarify that in no means was it easy for me to be all nerdy-like on Friday. It was difficult. But it felt good. I must say. I think winning helped too. It's a good world when the nerd gets Best Prize.
I just had to bring that up. Cos it really was quite demeaning for me at first.
Grade 12 is fantastic, you're right Lisa (even though I don't think you said that). I, myself, thoroughly enjoy my daily delves into the worlds of Mathematics and Physics. In fact, the only non-Science/Math/Computer courses that I have are Band and English. The rest (5) are all Science-y. Yay for mathematics! With you I shall acquire the Calender, making obsolete my beautiful Stonehenge. And then, once I get the Scientific Method, I will soon be able to learn of Fission and start the Manhattan Project and nuke all my enemies to tiny bits. Amen.
That was an allusion to the game Civilization 4.

Your choice of television programmes is impeccable. The only one I don't (do) agree with is the Amazing Race. I quite hate (enjoy) that show. Now, are those guys smokin' hot...as in Ben Reilly smokin' hot, or just regular smokin' hot? Just wondering, you know.

I'll start off, as I tend to do, with commenting on the last thing you said:
I am, in fact, quite pleased to see such an effort put into organization and grammar. I pride myself in this. Starting now.
Let us continue with this theme of television programmes. I, in fact, did not watch Grey's Anatomy. And I probably won't. Don't have a reason. But I probably won't. As for One Tree Hill and America's Next Top Model,
Prison Break is definitely an amazing show. I also like watching Justice, a show about a team of Defence lawyers. And at the end of every episode, they show you whether the person really was guilty or not. Criminal Minds is also a really cool show. It's about an FBI Behavioural Analysis team. Pretty much, they study criminals' behaviour and determine what they're going to do next or where or whatever. It's really cool. Then I watch House and 24 and the CSIs every once in a while.
Now, let's move on to music. I don't know about you, but I've kinda gotten into the whole metal scene. Specifically 2 bands: Tool and Blind Guardian. And, of course, I've discovered a theme song for my life: White and Nerdy by Weird Al. Pretty much the most amazing song ever. Ever.
And we continue with video games. No we don't. Cos it's like talking a wall. Who doesn't care. About video games.
I fell off my bike yesterday. Good times. I was late leaving home, so as I'm going (like half a block from my house), I decide to check my bag to make sure I have my band stuff. While still moving. So I'm going along for a couple songs, and them I'm like, hmmm...maybe I shouldn't ride without using my hands. So I use my free hand, my left hand, to reach over to my front brake and pull, lightly, to slow me down. But I had forgotten that my front brake wasn't working at the time. So I reached over to the other one...losing my balance and throwing me off my bike. So I landed. It wasn't all that bad. Except for the landing. Cos I used my hands to stop my body from hitting the ground, which resulted in a very nice constellation of cuts on the heel of my left hand. My right hand got a small abrasion, but not too bad. So yeah. Like I said, good times.

I have to say that I'm not enjoying english this year. Not all that much at least. It's kinda slow and boring. I wish I could just take my sciences and maths and I'd be good. But oh well.
Another thing that I wish is for my computer to be working (on my dad's Mac right now). After installing a new graphics card (which might have been just coincidental), I rebooted my computer, and, lo and behold, ERRORZ! It's all like "sorry, I can't log in to windows because you suck". So, til I bring it in tomorrow and have Delta Geeks fix it, I'm out of Civ 4 with Robin. And that just sucks. And, also, no talking about Ontario with Lisa! 'Tis a shame... I mean, I tried a whole whack load of stuffs. And I could try more cos I gots this awesome bootable CD with tons of diagnostic stuffies, but I don't want to go and mess up my C: drive, thus making me angry and wanting to kick my computer's balls very hard. Very. Hard.
Lisa, it's too bad you have all that English to do. Cos, I don't know about you, I am not very keen on English. I'm good and all, but I just don't really enjoy it. It'll be a chore all year. Like....like Geography in grade 9 *shudder*. Thank you for semesters. Cos if I had geo the whole year first thing in the morning every. single. day. I would have died a horrible, yet sustainably produced death. But no such mercy here. Now I'll probably slip into a grammatically correct coma. I just want it to zip through on English. Cos it's too much thinking in ways that I'm not used to and do not enjoy.

I'd love to make my own Wiki page, but unfortunately, because of the lack of relevance and biased content, it'll be deleted. I'd love to do it...but it wouldn't last longer than a day. It's also because most of it is totally unverifiable; I'm the only one who would know most of the information. Too bad though.
Grey's Anatomy....I'm sure it's a good show...but I probably just won't end up watching it. Like Lost. I know it's great, but I probably just won't get around to watching it.
I haven't watched the video, Jon, cos my computer is in for repairs and I don't wanna watch it with my parents in the room (using my dad's Uber Mac). Speaking of my computer, wanna know what's wrong? Well, apparently, the new drivers for my new graphics card messed up the registry. Why, you ask? Well, cos I didn't uninstall the drivers from my old card. Hmmmm....must be because WINDOWS IS TEH DUMB. Ugh, stupid Windows and your pickiness. I'll get it back tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Zeller is selling Wii pre-orders, but only like 5 per store. In other words, only the asians will get them (the closest one being in Richmond and all). Maybe there's one in North Delta too...meh.

So today's all like, Hey, I'm Thursday, and, for change, I'm gonna be the last day of school for the week. I'm glad Thursday made that decision.
On a different note, Jon, I disagree. Oblivion is not an amazing game. I downloaded it. Spent a couple days. And it totally doesn't seem to be worth it right now. Kinda slow and boring. It's fun in a sense, but it's also kinda slow right now. I don't know, maybe it'll pick up. Right now I'm just in the catacombs. Or whatever you'd like to call the first area. I do, however, enjoy Sid Meier's Pirates! (exclamation is part of the title). It's a lot of fun to pirate. Yar. Yahar. Yar.

So, I've been playing Civilization with Robin tonight, and there's this stupid jerk AI named Saladin. And I hate him. He's a jerk. In another game, he decided to randomly attack me and killed me. And same with this game. Except I haven't died. In fact, I've reclaimed my invaded continent, and have taken the the fight to his continent. And taken 2 of his cities so far. And destroyed 2 others. And I've named the small strip of water between our continents the Damn Strait. Out of victorious joy.

Yeah, VG. So, like, the PS3. $700 (plus games). 400k available in North America. Sweet deal.
Yeah, VG. So, like, the 360. $500 (plus games). Not a lot of games I want to play on it.
Not trying the bash anyone you know. Just the PS3. The 360's cool n all, but it just doesn't have any games I really would like to play except Oblivion and Dead Rising. And that's really it. PS3? Sure, Metal Gear is awesome, but it doesn't constitute spending nearly a grand just to play games. At least not to me. Plus, the Blu-Ray; not looking good in terms of popularity. Not saying that the Wii is better, but just that it fits me well. Games I like, and a good price. I was hoping for $200 US, but hey, $249 ain't bad either.
Games I want? Zelda TP, Metroid, Mario, and SmaBura (that's what them Japanese call Smash Bros. for short). TP is at launch, and the next 3 come out within 18 months. So it's all spread out and good. Plus, there are other games I'd like to try out like Trauma Center, Elebits, and Red Steel. And probably others that I can't think of right now. Oh, duh, and the Virtual Console. I'm gonna be all over ToeJam & Earl. And Ristar (so amazing. so. amazing.). It's gonna be intense. Holy crap.
Speaking of holy, I'm working on re-learning how to solve the good ol' Rubik's Cube. I used to know. Now I only remember the easy part, which is 2 thirds of the cube, but only half the time. My old record was 1 min, 30 seconds or so. I wanna get under a minute. I think that would be an accomplishment worth noting. And I'm getting a new cube cos my old one's all worn and the stickers are coming off.
Anyway, back to my essay for a bit. Then a game for a break, then sleepy sleep.

Yes I could solve a Rubik's cube in 1.5 min. Totally random. TOTALLY. Like, someone takes it, messes it up for however long they like, and then i solve it.
PS3 is powerful. But I'm just not a fan of the PS brand. Just not a fan. Just. Not. Wii...yeah, I guess I have my doubts, but I have my hopes too. I think it'll do quite well, and as long as it's fun, that's all I care about. Fun is good. I have to admit that there are games for PS that appeal to me, but not enough to spend $800. Plus the Wii has the Virtual Console. 'nuff said.
In terms of you and I, well, if you get a PS3 at launch, and I get a Wii. I say you and I (let's be exclusive) have a WiiS3 Party. We'll be all like. I MURDER YOU WITH MY VIDEO GAME SKILLZ. That's right. Intense.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. I do like Playstion games, but I think it's because I started with Nintendo that I'm sticking to it. I just love all of their IPs. And other games too, but most of all, the IPs (IPs = Intellectual Property games, as in, games made by Nintendo). I mean, if I had the money, I'd get all 3 systems, ranking them in order of play: Wii, PS3, 360. I do like the XBOX brand, but PS3 still has more games that I'd play than the 360 does.
So I may be pre-ordering a Wii on Monday. As I told Jon. Now, I don't want be all silly and say that I'm afraid that I'm "jinxing" it by saying it so often, but hey, I'm kinda worried. Though, either way, it will happen as it happens, and my telling people will not prevent it. Unless you believe in chaos theory. Cos then it is possible. Anyway, so EB Games is starting pre-orders on Monday for the Wii. And probably ending them in 5 minutes. Cos they're supposed to have "very few". My guess: less than 5. So, since I can't go (cos my parents have to go to work, and I'd have no ride home), my gracious brother has said that he'll go and wait for me. For 3 hours. Yeah, I can't thank him enough! YAY! I sure hope he gets one. Then I can rest my mind til it comes out.

You know what, the 400th is long off. And even then, I still have 100, 200, and 300, which add up to 600. Which is more than 400.
When you go to sleep tonight (or tomorrow, if you don't come back one), and maybe even at youth, you can just think about how you missed the 300th comment. And how I have taken it from you. Just like those other 2 times. I mean, think of it, you'll never EVER have another chance to get post 300, let alone 200 or 100. And 400...well, it's 1 of many. Kinda like the Matrix or something. So the first step is to write down the dreams you have, and consciously say to yourself, when you go the bed "I will remember my dreams". And hey, I did. That's twice in a week. That never happens. So yeah, eventually, I'm gonna like...solve computer and math problems when I sleep! It'll be like being awake! Only better! Well, not better, different. Sweet.

Jon, you totally caught me off guard. I mean, all my defences were down and AT LEAST I'M GUARANTEED A WII WHEN IT COMES OUT! OH SNAP. THAT WAS UNEXPECTED. That's right.
So yeah. Another night that is...not...day. Amazing how that works. Tonight, as always, I'm hanging out with all my ERROR: Can't Locate root\users\Ben\Friends.txt. So it's been fun. I'm defragging my computer cos it's running really slowly. And I'm angry at it. Well, more displeased, really.
And now for the interesting information. So I was thinking to myself, "Self, everybody else (i.e. Lisa) has a movie night at their house quite often, so why not host one at your house for once?" And I thought that that was a pretty good idea. So, since this weekend is pretty much 3 days long, I was wondering if you (Jon, Lisa, Cam, and everybody else who doesn't read this) wanted to come and watch a movie either Friday or Saturday. I mean, we won't be watching the Discovery Channel or anything. We could watch anything really. I don't mind. Heh.
Anyway, long story longer, bring a movie you want to watch (required that it doesn't contain too much language or sex. Mostly sex, cos language...my parents aren't too tight on, and I don't care either. Sex though, not so much. example: although I haven't actually seen all of it, Anchorman probably wouldn't be favourable. Sorry if it seems a little strict or whatever, but I'd rather avoid any awkward situations. That being said, my parents aren't total losers either. I agree with them. ...so we're all total losers. Now I'm rambling.), and we'll just watch it and hang out. At my place, for a change. No, we don't have an HDTV like Lisa, but we have a 40 (42?) inch projection TV. So it's large. Tell me if your interested, and if it gets planned out, then I'll need the phone #s Brian and Codder and Brett and whoever else wants to come. Cos I don't know numbers. Or if it's just us 4 (or just me...), I don't care. Whatever.

Ok, so I watched your videos...but it doesn't give much in terms of gameplay. What's it going to be like? I think it looks fantastic though. I just hope that the whole dusty city environment doesn't get boring. Like in Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. Or whatever it's called. I didn't like it. Too much brown. I hope it's really good though. Looks that way.
Now, 2 things: smabura (that's what them Japanese call Smash Bros. for short) Check out the first video, it shows some snake stuff, looks good.
And...I know it may be asking a lot, but check this out. It's an overview of Zelda as a whole. Casamassina got 10 hours with it, and he says a lot. Overall: looks amazing. It's six pages long, so you don't have to if you don't want.
Heh, and Jon, Zelda's supposedly about 70+ hrs of gameplay. Definitely more if you spend time exploring and stuff. So, as one guy put it, that's less than a dollar an hour! Pretty good deal compared to a movie or a book.
And now, to please Lisa, not video games:
I'm really glad that you did well on your math test. Cos you didn't seem to thrilled about it afterwards, at least that was my impression. Glad it turned out well. There's nothing higher than an A.

Yeah, FF12 looks awesome. It's Final Fantasy, what more needs to be said? And I totally know what you mean by exploding. I still have to wait 9 whole days before the Wii comes out. Though I must say that it almost seems surreal that I should actually, eventually play it. I mean, it's always been out there, unreachable because of that darn time gap. And now, all of a sudden, it's a bit more than a week away. It just doesn't seem possible. It's almost...wrong... ....no it isn't. I'm good. Zelda!
Lisa, sorry I missed out on your singing, I had an essay to work on (which I finished tonight), and I couldn't spare the time to go. Cos I was also supposed to drum. Oh well. What matters is that....something.
So on Tuesday, at a band performance thingy at NDSS, I was reacquainted with some childhood friends of mine (as in, like, from when I was 2 and 3). I must say that it was extremely strange, because I'm definitely not used to this sort of thing. It made me feel like I was at my childhood home, because I knew people from long ago. And that's not normal for me. Like, normally, if someone asks me where I'm from, I have to pull out my atlas and explain to them all the places that I've lived. Cos I'm not really "from" any place. So it was weird to feel something like that. I mean, I have a "home" for different parts of my life, such as, for my childhood, I consider Massachusetts to be my home cos I was there from grades 2-7. Meh, you know, just wanted to share that. As I like to say (having not place that I'm "from"): home is where the house is!

Jon, you HAVE to check out wii.ign.com. They have 2 real-time Zelda vids, and they show you that the graphics really don't suck. The stills though, like the ones you've seen, are....well, still, so you can see the bad stuff more easily. And try to view them without thinking of the PS3 or X360, cos you can't compare standard def to high def. So it's just not worth it. Instead, just look at the graphics in and of themselves. It's impressive. They look very nice.
And are you doing anything to actually get a PS3 or are you just hoping one slips through the mail slot in your door? Cos I think this is just going to turn out to be a Wii Are Cool party in which we'll both end up playing with my white Wii. Entendre intended. Speaking of which, you should also check out the IGN Weekly vid of Casamassina and Bozon (of IGN Wii) undressing the beautiful Nintendo Wii, and exposing its sexy white body to the whole of the interweb.

Ok, no vg talk this post (even though a certain un-named event will occur in 3 days...), just for you Lisa.
Oh look, I now have nothing to talk about. Heh. Well, I could talk about Lost. But none of you watch it. Or, even if you did, you'd be way ahead of me, so it wouldn't matter. I could talk to you about the computer troubles I had, but once again, it's of no interest to you folks. So then, let us speak of Christmas. I like that topic.
See, being an all-my-life-except-birth-and-now East Coaster, I really miss the snow. Every time I hear Christmas music (like today in band) I think of snow. And walking to/from high school back in Ontario. *sigh* I miss that snowy snow. What I'd give for a white Christmas this year....that would make me so happy. Actually, the snow is such a big factor that my consideration for UWaterloo is increasing. Just because it's back East. See, I need snow. It's almost painful not having it. On my way back from band, heading to English, I forced myself to not look outside because I had the feeling that there was snow on the ground and I didn't want to ruin that for myself. Snow...
Oh, new topic: Ben does a stupid thing. So 2 nights ago, I was looking over some Physics stuff for a test the following day (yesterday) and I kept telling myself, "Self, don't be late for school tomorrow, cos you've got the test first thing." Thankfully, my mom drove me, so I didn't have to worry. And so I was early, and was like the 3rd person in the room, so I got to work. And everything went well. So, the bell rings, I stand up, get my stuff together, and....wait a second, was that Greg's voice behind me? He's not in my class. I turn around. Wait, neither is Kevin. Or all these people. ....heh.... So yeah, I took the test during the wrong block. Good times. The teacher didn't notice cos when we have tests, he assigns us spots, so it's not like I was taking anyone's normal seat. And apparently all my friends who were in that class kept wondering why I was in there (I was in the front row, being early and all, and so I didn't see them). So, thankfully, my other class that I swapped was IT, which runs for 2 blocks in a row and so I was able to just do it then. Yesterday though, my parents made at least 4 jokes about it. And now everyone knows at school. Heh, good times. I couldn't help but laugh. Oh, and then my Chem teacher always makes fun of me for being from Ontario, and so he said to me, "You can take the boy out of Toronto, but you can't take Toronto out of the boy." I laughed.
So there you have it, a non-gaming comment.

You know, I think I've realized something after all these non-video-game comments: there's a world outside of video games. Wait...what am I saying?! Silly Benjamin, Trix are for kids!
So yeah, in regards to my going to the wrong class, I'm glad that I can be the object of your laughter and happiness. =_= And yes, that would have been embarrassing.
In terms of tests...you shouldn't alway check your tests. Let's use a real-life example (mostly cos I just wanna share this, though I normally don't do this sort of thing...): I got 56 out of 55 on that Physics test that I took in the wrong block. When I get that test back, I'll just let it sit there. Why check it? If I find a mistake and I only have 55, then I have no choice but to give in to my guilt and tell the teacher that he gave me the extra mark. So, I'll just use a little method known as Plausible Deniability (yay, an Independence Day allusion!). Actually, I'll end up glancing through it cos I'm just that much of a little (using a nice term) "Ben"-type person that I can't allow myself to have extra marks that I didn't earn. =D That's me alright.
Ok, so no, I wasn't born in Ontario. I didn't even live there the longest. But I am a Surrey kid, so that means that I'm lost anyway. I my life was screwed from birth. Poor me. But I still consider myself an East Coast-er (as opposed to a Left Coast-er) cos I lived there for 15(?) of my wonderfully wonderful life. So I would be honoured to fight for the East. Honoured.
Actually, speaking of Ontario...I just talked to a guy who was my best friend when I lived there, and things aren't the same anymore (duh). I mean, things have really changed. Or at least, my eyes are opened to how it really was. Perhaps it was just my view that changed. It has put to rest a lot of my doubts and upsetedness (that's probably not a word) about having moved here. Like we talk about on MSN, Lisa. I'm sure you remember. Yeah...it's kind of upseting to think that a grey cloud hangs over Oakville (though it does here too), but it has stopped me from dreaming (probably lusting too) about being back in Oakville.
Heh...it seems like whenever we move things just fall apart. People move away and stuff. And lots of things change. My old youth group has really been brought down, and some of the people who used to go are involved in certain things that just...aren't healthy. It has kinda put a damper on my day, and given me a bit of a darker view of the world. And, all pathetic fallacy-like, it's dark and rainy here. I'm gonna sit and think for a bit. Or maybe listen to some music to cheer me up...
Oh, about that movie: my dad may be able to give us a ride. Like, you'd probably have to get to the church or something, but I think he could drive us. That would mean...5 people other than my dad and myself. I don't know if that's enough, or if he can do it, but yeah, there is that possibility.

Wha-bam. I lose. You got me. Odd this, me not commenting about my Wii. Cos it's pretty sweet. I mean, now the excitement has settled down, so I'm not totally tied to it. It feels more like a regular console now. Weird though, cos it feels like I've had it for so long. Probably from reading everything about it for the past 2 years.
Zelda is absolutely fantastic. I can't help but feel like I'm playing Ocarina of Time again. Only it's larger, different, more in depth, and, of course, the graphics are better. It is, after all, set in Hyrule (the same place as OoT). I mean, I don't know if it (let alone any game) will ever surpass OoT's popularity. TP's in fourth in terms of average scoring from game sites....but tied for second by user votes. Well, it has only been out for a week, so there's lots more room for it to move. Right now, as you can see in the second link, it's only below Resident Evil 4 for GCN in user votes...and I'm pretty sure it's better than RE4. Anyway, besides that, it still won't beat OoT simply because OoT has become an icon. A legend, if you will pardon the unintended pun. Beating OoT is like trying to find something that Mother Teresa did wrong in her life. I tried that once for an essay, it doesn't work. She's been idolized. And so has OoT. That's ok though. In my mind, they are either equals, or TP surpasses. I don't think TP could have done this sort of thing, however, if it wasn't set in Hyrule. For some reason, Hyrule just makes it familiar and..."right". I can't explain it. But you can't beat Hyrule.
Lisa, I apologize profusely for my talk of video games. But you must understand. It's like you've just watched something amazing and unexpected happen on So You Think You Can Dance and you have a fan of that show within communication distance. You just have to say something.
Oh, another thing about the Wii, Jon, is the interface. I love now how game systems are moving to a centralized menu with all other features stemming out from that main menu. I know the Wii doesn't do as much as the PS3 (right now at least), but the menu is great. I remember with the GCN how it always bugged me how there was no real menu. The XBOX's one was a bit more of one, and the PS2 didn't really have one either. I like a menu. And the Wii one is new and looks very clean and nice. I don't really like the PS3 one, mostly becuase I saw it first on the PSP, and I very much dislike the PSP. I find that style to be too simple for a console. On a handheld, fine, but a console can do with more. Why does it need to be so minimalized? I guess I just find that you're so confined with that menu cos you have those certain icons, and ONLY those. All the rest is empty space. The 360's menu is pretty nice too. Cos you have different segments that open and then fill the screen. So you actually have a bit of "breathing room".

Hahaha a "ben sized comment". I guess it's true...I do write large ones. And yeah, isn't it amazing that I emerged less than a week after I got the Wii? It really is amazing....
I actually didn't play Zelda when I left. Instead, I spent about an hour playing Wii Sports. Boy is that fun. I played a couple games of tennis, a game of baseball, and a round of golf....and, my favourite, about 4 matches in boxing. Boxing is so much fun. I'm having some friends over on Sunday, so I wanted to make sure that I was ready to beat the crap (in the game of course) out of them. I was all like *left* *left *right* and *left* *right jab*. Gettin' some sweet combos and beating the snot out of those poor helpless Miis. Heh....
I still don't like the PS3 menu. If it's supposed to be an entertainment....castle...?....then it should at least have a nice interface. I just find it to be really restricting. See, with the Wii, you have the full screen being used up, and so it means that you can move around a bit and...yeah, I don't know why, but I just feel like the PS3 menu is just *too* simple. You can make it simple (the Wii's menu is very simple) but it still needs certain things...namely a larger size. Make it look nice. Sure, it's clean and simple...but there's nothing to it. ...actually, now that I think about it, and actually look at pictures of it (which are exactly as I remember), I think it's just cos I'm already used to the mouse-like qualities of the Wiimote. I find the regular traversing of menus to be too restrictive. I mean, there are times in Zelda when you have no choice but to scroll through options with the control stick (by times, I mean in only one circumstance as far as I have seen), when you normally can do either one. And I prefer to point. Yeah.
So Jon, you need to come over some time and we can play some Sports and Red Steel. And Zelda if you want to start a file, but keep in mind it's a 70-hr game...and you'd have to come over a lot if you want to beat it. And I don't like you enough to allow that :P I've played....17 hours or so now.
Lisa....I understand. Once again, my apologies. How about you bring up another topic that we can talk about til the game talk dies back down, so you don't feel left out?
And did you guys realize that we're at 345 comments? That's a lot. 345...

But I had fun in the snow. Yesterday I had a bunch of guys over and we played with the Wii. And then we went out for a snow walk. We had sliding races, and then a nice snowball fight. Then today we played snow football. Good times. I definitely love the snow. Maybe you've just been away from it so long that you just aren't used to it. Or it's out to get you. That's more likely.
Anyway, I'm so tired. So very tired. I need my rest. Cos I'm also sore from those races...and football. Legs especially.
